Did a dummy mount tonite to see if the compressor will fit behind the seats...it does

Going to DI for the weekend so will do mount it all up next week and get the airline for the front locker connected up along with the wiring, hopefully that should all work, can't be too hard right? ARB has already runs the airlines, I'll just be careful not to crimp the hose and all should be good...

See what happens, just get it fixed if I bugger it up

Where the seat folds up it's quite close, if not touching a little bit, I'll let you know when it's actually in, but with it just sitting there you can get it to about 60-70 degrees, more than enough to access the under seat compartments.

Should of read this earlier, I didn't take mine down. There's every possibility that it will never see the beach Went down in a mates 75 series cruiser ute, you would have heard it, turbo diesel 6cyl, twin 3" stacks straight thru, you would have heard it if we went passed Also another mate in a black 05 lux 2+2 towing a jetski.

Yeah I was, pretty much made it too. When I was going out it was only ever for day trips or a couple of nights, spending most of the day and night making our climate a bit warmer and killing some polar bears. And my mate in the 75 cruiser was always keen to hit harder tracks and having a steel tray didn't have the worry of panels and whatnot if something went wrong. So on the harder stuff I'd leave mine parked up, but I really wanted to drive it, so I thought bugger this, I'll do a similar thing and get rid of the panels. Now if the back end hits a rock it'll take a bit of paint off and won't do anything to the tray.

Sliders are next, trying a couple of different ways of getting the body lift approved, but if that fails again the sliders can go on and then the sas will happen.

It does look good hey Looking at replacing the drums with discs at the same time it's off the road for the SAS. Sick of going in mud and losing handbrake and pedal. Going to Glasshouse next sunday and going to run my mates 33s after he chucks the 35s on. See how they go.

I ended up getting some of the same recovery points as you. he he. We must research the same way. As ARB and other were not helpful with me either. Can i ask what mod you did to the ARB splash guards? I have done a dummy fit and think i just need to drill a hole the same size as the bolt above the existing hole on the splash guard. Is that correct?

I ended up mounting the compressor down on the left panel in the cubby hole as it was out of the way and kept a flat packing space. This photo is taken sitting inside the tub looking towards the rear of the car. I used the existing bolts that the drawers had utilised to save drilling another hole and mounted it to a small piece of plywood. It also helped elevate it as I used a another spacer in case the car went swimming and the tub wasn't completed water-proof...which it isn't.

yeah he put a 2 inch body lift in and got some 33s!!! now he is selling the tiers back to 31s selling the tray going back to a tub and .........reason for this is he got a girlfriend hahaha he wont admit it but
