That's exactly what I was thinking, poke it in where you normally would, wouldn't be to hard to put the necessary bits up there.

I got a spare wheel winch Pete....im not using it and I dont think I will as the 305's just hang too low especially with the quarter chop....give ya something to play with :roll:

It'll be easy as pie to rig up mate. Jump under your truck and you'll see. The winch is held on only by two 12mm headed bolts. Its in the hilux already...let me know when to tee up the delivery. ;)

Does it hold gears longer ?

I got mine from Repco. But a few places are selling them new, not cheap thou. .
