Getting the hub faces machined perfectly flat and then off to zinc coating whilst waiting for these shocks to rock up. Replacing front and rear studs with slightly longer ARP chromoly ones 8-)

My bash plate design that removes the radiator brackets but still supported for more clearance.

Side protection sits in between the radiator support and cross member.

Wow man, every time I look you are putting more engineering into your car. Good on you. Can't wait to see it once you have finished, if you ever finish. I bet once this is done you will start on another major project with it.

Not much to report, picked up the DBA T3 4x4 150 series prado rotors and QFM HPX pads today. Few issues with the rotors and the spindle but thats to be expected.

Once the brake mounts are done I'll rebuild the prado calipers with new pistons and seals then paint them.

One parcel is in Australia waiting for a broker to pick it up and deliver it!!! I know its going slow so apologise for lack of updates... [emoji3]

Anyone know where I could get a genuine brake caliper rebuild kit?

Thinking of painting the brake calipers either silver or blue, something different to the red and yellow..

I think the part number is 04478-60050, from your local dealer. Should be around $50 per side. I found that under a 2014 Hilux in the parts database.

As for color - sorta personal preference there mate, I prefer silver if it's going to be surrounded by a lot of newly black painted suspension and black wheels.

Thanks Steven, do you know if that includes pistons?

Going to paint the arms and spindle silver/grey, do like the silver better though should be interested finding high temp filler and 2pac paint.
