Time to make use of more of the features available on the A-Sure AS-VSDVB unit that I now have in my ute. I meant to do these same mods with my Dig_Options unit, but never got around to it.

When I am out in the bush I generally have a video camera and always thought it would be handy to be able to watch the footage on a larger than 3" screen. Only problem being that I usually have the camera mounted to the windscreen filming upside down.

So, today I have fitted the USB extension, iPod cable (missus is getting an iPod for Xmas), AV In and Digital TV Aerial (didn't find anything here, not that I tried too hard).

Image

The blue arrows point to the iPod and the DTV Aerial cable. The red arrow points to the USB plug jammed in the back of the pocket and the green arrow points to the 3 RCA plugs for AV In. Works well. :)

Please excuse the dirt... I really should clean it, some time. :)

Following a quad-bike track. Took this shot after taking a walk to make sure it wasn't too squeezy and that no bikes were coming.

Yeah, washing vehicles has never been my strong point, Dave!
At least I can get away with it more with a 4x4 instead of a street car... :)

Your ute still has the canopy? I noticed a silver SR5, just with a rollbar, slow down to have a look yesterday.

Funny you should say that... Saw a ute just like yours the other day. Waving frantically I realised it was someone from the wannabe TRD club... Black rollbar etc. Glad I didn't go for black.
Have you noticed the number of TRD stickered Hiluxes around town, none of them real? I've counted 3 so far.

Nah that wasn't me, I flew in about 7pm last night and worked through till about 3am this morning... I went past today in the companies white (more so red with plenty of mud all over it) 2wd bravo ute. Was going between our two sites this afternoon. Back home now!

Does the bloke with the black hilux parked next to ya come onto the site?
