Nice work Mitch but just a suggestion.....you should have raised the towbar/winch higher....the factory towbar height is going to O.D you on departure angles......I suggest making up some new side brackets like I have and raising it higher...you can always mod the winch mounting location around this, just so you can retain as good a departure angle as possible.

I did that with my last single cab but found the tongue ended up being about 400mm long to keep trailer level. Im just going to run this one where it's at but appreciate the input. Ready to sell me that xrox yet :-)

Looking good Mitch. I see the outer edges of the RHS has been notched - are you going to use tubing around the outside?

Not 100% sure, will try it out and see where it's at. I'm used to coils so I'm expecting the worst :-)

Those battery trays are welded onto the factory crossmembers yeah?

Will you have trap doors in the floor of the tray to easily access them?

Cheers guys, no trap doors, batteries are laying on their sides, although that won't really need to be accessed really. I will have have plugs up on the tray for fridge ect.. to plug into,
And rear is purely for read winch although will be linked to front redtop starting battery

Started working out mock up tubing with 40mm PVC (measures 48mm OD) same as the tubing I will be using. I'll use bends and glue together then take to the benders for then to copy :-)
