Yesterdays Efforts. Tray Removed, Tub put back on. Bought some new smoaked LED tail lights I need to install during the week. Have to remake the removable mudflaps I had earlier. Have to re-raise the towbar to suit quarter chop again, and if I can find a cheap rollbar Ill fit it, if not, Ill run one without.

Tray is for sale for $1200.00 on the forum and elsewhere.....once editted link gets approved.

Get rid of the stock tail gate for a tube style one mate, integrate a bit of bar work to wrap around the corners of the tub, and maybe a removable spare tyre holder. Would look mean than

Nope.....just want a tuff pickup I can take wheeling once in a while and throw a few logs of wood in the back when needed.

Dont have time for touring......might change when I retire one day.

You have to make time for these things....

No point waiting to do it all when you retire, I've seen plenty of people advertising fully build tourers for sale saying they have never been used and selling due to ill health......

No I took it off the market.

Gonna play with it some more. Theres a couple things I plan to fit on it by years end...one of them will be a brand new product not seen yet that I'll be showcasing that should get some interest out there.

Custom factory towbar side brackets. Made out of 10mm steel plate. These will sit the towbar "just" over the top of the chassis rails and in line with the rear of chassis rail. More so for use as towbar as recovery point on a tray back. Could tow light trailers but i wouldnt tow anything heavy. $50 the pair plus freight.

You can see how they fit below:

Brand New Caloffroad 1" Lift Blocks for rear end. Never used. Not needed. $100.00

Hey mate just popped over from NTN to check out your build.
Nice rig mate. I've recently fitted the full works DMS kit to my Triton and with the crawler gears and lockers the only thing holding me back on our recent HC trip was departure angles.

Going the rear tub chop in a few weeks !!! ;)

If those 1" spacers fit my bus I'd be keen to take them.

:D

No problem mate.....feel free to swing past and check emout if needed.\

surprised no other newtriton owners have been ballsy enough to rear quarter chop their tubs yet.

on another note....scored a SR5 sportsbar for $50 tonight.

was just thinking..... ....thats my 3rd one for this vehicle......LMAO
