Added some room under the wheel archs.

Fitted grooved Bilsteins and Kings HD front springs with Dobinsons HD leaves.

Result an extra 60mm under the arch until I get the barwork fitted - waiting on the bar to arrive.

Just got the call and the only missing item may be my flares.

Should get the girl back on Tuesday with enough time to fit my other gear before the trip :D

My old ute had 160k on it - sold it to my brother in law.

i'm doing the fitout but that little tray is a custom Triple M to my specs. Custom Fit Fabrications is doing the gullwing body.

This hilux is awesome...........
It craps all over mine on the open road and also on the 4wd tracks as well.
A well sorted rig mate... Well done.... And thanks for driving me around in on Saturday
I need a set of those diff gears....
Hmm.. Prado rotors in the Prado 16 inch rims... Is that one next???? If the caliper is the same size as the hilux one and only offset out 21mm these should fit into our rims... :)
Cheers

Thanksmate

As you can see I finally got her out and about.

Mad dash to get the fitout done before joing the Newvember getaway.

SO now she has a front bar with Warn XP winch and HID converted Lightforce XGTs

Refitted the old Toyota Genuine towbar so I had a rear recovery point.

And finally on the highest track in Australia.

As Mark has said the diff gears are excellent. Made driving in all situations a lot better. Fuel economy still to be advised as I have only got 1800kms on her so far.

Oh and the HIDs are "AWESOME"

Was a lot better in the slower stuff (not really much crawling on the trip).

Found that areas I used to climb in Low 1st sometimes were an easy low 2nd and places where I used low 2nd with brakes to go downhill were now feet free.

Also out on the road the pickup was much better and being able to hold a gear a lot longer on hills without burying the boot was nice.

Just felt relieved that it all worked as planned.

looks a bit low, might need a bit of a lift...hehe,
dont want to be scratching the new car on some speed humps!!!
then some tyres then bar work, then snorkel< then lockers, the list is endless

looks good mate, i like that colour

due to recent financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel has been shut off until further notice !

Mate...
Just bolt those MTZ's on... Take it for a lap around the block, pretty sure it will rip the front bumper off clean so there is your excuse to upgrade to a Sahara Bar... :)
And you can give us all an answer on the 16x7 prado rims fitting on the oversize calipers.....

Sorry guys its been a bit busy around here (followed up by a bit lazy)

Will get some pics up of the canopy and the other items over the next few days.

My canopy is fixed but it is just as easy to make them liftoff like Albys.
