No mate just waiting for a secondhand one to pop up, although if I'd ordered one 2 weeks ago when I was going to it have one on the next few weeks :-) I need one to suit no bodylift

In Parrs Build Buddy makes reference to being allowed to take off a maximum of 300mm......you can see in the pick below that he has taken the rear tray mount off...he welded in another crossmember once this was done.

Image

Mitch, on a single cab, cutting the chassis back to where the rear shackle ends would look SICK! and give you a shorter tray.....Ill be doing that with a custom one day too.

Edit: Heres the crossmember he welded in -

sorry for taking up your build thread with other pics Mitch, just posting them here for reference.

Ha funny u mention it, I was just having a fight with myself about whether to bob the chassis. I will gain about 200mm but lose my towbar which I kinda wanna keep just in case. I've also want to use the towbar as a brace point for the rear winch

but if you weld in a new crossmember with an inbuilt hitch receiver and brace it from behind back to the chassis rails, although not rated would definitely be stronger than factory and you have the benefit of bobbing it.

id consider it seriously mitch....go all the way.

Sicklux with my bob we are refitting the original tow bar, just re-drilling holes and using crusher blocks in the chassis...
But i would do as max was saying and go a crossmember with an inbuilt hitch receiver and brace, i would have preferred this but space and the fact that it was already welded in there was an issue

looking forward to the photos

Sorry max, decided to keep chassis standard length which is very rare for me as I chop first and think later! After looking at it and weighing up my fabrication skill(amateur) I opted to incorporate to tow bar into the mounting for the rear winch, here are some pics
