good stuff....i found you get a little more uptravel if your coilovers allow it without a swaybar. may pay to fit a bump stop spacer to limit uptravel slightly.

good work...this may become a trend

Yeah prob a good idea to put a spacer behind bump stop, will prob only need 5mm...

Probablly but so do 33's, my rims, extended shackles, etc,etc...
feels a little floaty over 80kph and i would not like to have to swerve at 100kph but thats what bullbars and airbags are for..
I run a pretty stiff spring up front so no swaybar has free'd up the front end like you wouldn't believe... it feels like i'm driving a flexy four wheel drive and not a log!!! :D

The Lux has copped a flogging over the past year and a half living back in Tassie, it has seen way to much water and mud so have given' her a really good once over the past couple of weeks.

Changed diff oils, engine oil/filter, serviced K&N filter, paper filter and MAF.
Had an Auto elec pull apart the alternator and clean the mud out of it  also replaced the pully assy which was making a terrible whiring sound and had a good 2mm play in the bearing!

Put in a new handbrake cable, the old one was literally hanging on by a thread :o so no more having to park up against a tree or rock when out on the tracks
Replaced broken hub bolt.
I sprayed 4 cans of degreaser in the engine bay and spent the good part of a day scrubbing everything i could get to!
In the next couple of weeks will get to a performance Auto joint and hopefully get the o2 sensor issue sorted, finish my sliders and bashplates and she's good to go another round :D

Sold my SR5 tub and SR5 rims (to fund more mods of course  )

What's your O2 sensor issue?
What codes is it throwing?

God dam engine light thats been on since i put the exhaust in

Not sure what the code is, had a few people look at it but there scan tools are old and shit so can't really pin point where the problem is but it does come up with oxy sensor, just can't tell which one of the four
Found a guy in town who has some new gear so he reckons he'll be able to sort it out...

I'm pretty clueless when it comes to that kind of S##t so will leave this job up to someone else 8-)

Nice build there Jake. How do you rate the Kumo's after having them on for a while and giving them, by the looks of it some really good tests.
Cheers Rod

Thanks mate :D
The Kumo's as an all rounder are perfect! bitumen, gravel, sand, mud... all good.
For a dedicated mud tyre for tassie conditions though they could be more aggressive.
But it's more size that matters on the hard tracks down here..... 35's are a starting point for the hardcore guys

Finished off the bashplate, modded ARB splash guards to suit. Took the sharp edge off the All-terrain recovery points. Started designing my own recovery eyelets which will be a lot more high clearence and made from thicker plate.
Now the lowest point on my front end is those f#$kin hideous factory tiedowns that stick out like dogs balls

Nothing a nine inch blade wont do

BTW how are you finding your 2inch lift with 33's working?
apart from whats in your build tread have you done anything else to prevent scrubing?
Im thinking of cutting into the metal guard on mine, so thought i would ask you first as your the only other member i know that has a 2ich lift with 33's.

Nah mate, whats in my thread is all i've done: light bodymount chop (not that it would of really touched) trimming of inner guard, punching that pinchweld back and folding ARB splash guards up. Even with the swaybar removed im juuuust clearing everything.
It's all in those rims mate :D ....
