Well you guessed it...

The email notifications of new thread replies and private messages will now be inside the notification email from now on.

This does not mean you can reply to the email though, you still need to log-in and reply through the forum.

Looks good Dave, Do you wantt to have a go at making the View Active topics link appear on every page instead of just the index page. I don't know about anyone else, but I use this link all the time.

Who uses the active topics link? everyone asked me to put the New Posts link at the top so I did

perhaps when I revamp the ugly menu bar at the top it can go in there... no probs!

Yeh but if you close your browser, New posts are cleared and I like to review stuff back a bit cos. I am a bit of a forum junkie but not a bad as Max. Some PHPBB skins do stick it on every page. See, I logged back in as rodw to get to 3k posts!

I also use the active topics when the new posts has ben reviewed on the phone and I get back to a laptop and the new posts have expired... if that makes sense...

Yep, I'm the same as Rod and Quinny. I use view active topics everytime. You can have 6 pages of threads and go back and see what you missed last week.

I use that all the time and have to click back through the index page to get to it..... would be good in the top menu....
