Sorry to hear stories of poor service.
We have had our Lux since November 05.
The other day I dropped into Toyota to see if the keys are covered by warrantee as the cover is coming off the buttons, no problem they are replacing both even though one is like brand new.
We have had a few dealings with them as we own 2 Hiace as well and I can say the service department has never let us down. They lent us a car, no charge, when they could not get our Lux through quick enough (slight oil leak in rear shaft bearing), fantastic service.
Nothing is a problem.

Same with me. They cant help but help. I used to have a Barina and it cost 4x the amount to service it over the lux. Also, now that it seems it is illegal to wash your car, I can take it down there whenever I like and they wash it free. Its a good job too.
They even have an ARB modified lux in the yard to show what you can do with them. Apparently the marketing manager is some 4byphile like us...

Lucky you!

My experience with Toyota has not been very positive.

I'm close with one of the service advisor so that helps a little. It could have been worse.........
Cheers
