I also wonder the same thing.

Have a look on the Lovells website (http://www.lovells.com.au/gallery.php?PHPSESSID=2815d12715dca11de97d4a58ac8fdcfb) they have a picture of a Hilux that has been lifted. Apparently Lovells is go stuff as well.

Some times there is to much to choose from, how do you pick what system do you want, do you go for price, quality or aftermarket service?

Bluemax do a complete suspension upgrade for the Hilux, try giving them a buzz, they're good quality and are really good on price. www.bluemax.com.au - that is what I have on my Hilux.

Dave,

You are right about Bluemax, I just rang them and they will sell me a kit including freight to Sydney for around the $1100.00 mark, that is a great price.

How much did it lift the front and rear of your truck?

They quoted me 40mm front and rear. I would of assumed that the rear would of gone up higher

Yeah mine went up about 35-40mm higher, make sure they are supplying you with the strengthened front struts, the rear didn't go up as high as I would have liked but that's fine. I have alot of weight in my lux and it handles it really well. ps: don't forget to ask about the struts!

Today I spoke to Dobinsons suspension, they sell 50mm lift kit for $1320, plus fitting.

Sound like great value

Apparently Dobinsons is good gear, apparently a few bigger trucks run this gear.

Yes, yes, I want to, but!!!!! Insurance, parking (as in my garage etc) cost etc, got a quote from K&N at the show on the weekend $1380 fitted with the heavy duty front struts. So I think I will go with these guys.
