Lift Kits

Postby Brett B on Tue, 05 Sep 2006 9:00 +0000

Hi Guys

I had a OME 2 Inch lift fitted to the new Hilux

Ever since the lift I now have positive camber on both front wheels, I have been back several times to have this corrected but they say this is ok - normal, I dont think so

I would like to know if others who have had lift kits fitted have similar positive camber ?

When looking at the front of the lux it is obvious to see. :x

I had the same issue with my lift kit. I took my car to a Bridgetone Tire center, they adjusted it slightly but my drivers wheel looks like it's still slightly out but they say its fine and it won't do any harm... i don't know who to believe :(

Mine is exactly the same, drivers side seems more out than the other.

I will get it looked at again by another as you did

Thanks

My wheels are fine with the ome 2 inch lift. If i was to run my tires with the positive camber i would always rub on the ifs arm

My drivers side is positive camber as well, they say they run out of adjustment, so cannot do anymore.
