How?
Because when not locked you are driving an open rear diff, effectvely a single-spinner.
Even thou this causes the inside tyre/wheel to spin much easier when powering through corners, I think the elimination of the LSD removes that extra amount of load that could strain the rear diff and cause something to break on bitumen.
Just my opinion.....I really miss my LSD on the road, but I think the single spinner setup helps the reliability of things back there.
Anyone else feel the same?
