Get a tape measure and go to a tyre store and measure the tyres yourself, never rely on online size data...it almost never is 100% to real life

its close enough for me mate, Im happy. The only time you would need that extra 5-10% I beleive is if your going fast or launching thus landing hard with extra load/force......that being said, your asking for trouble I beleive if your driving like that anyway.

Yeah that's true. I should really keep out of this thread. It's making me think that I should just bite the bullet and do it. Haha

It's official!!

First reactions
-they're not actually that big...

-Stock gearing will surprise you, it's not much different feeling to 33s which takes the pressure of a regear

-13 offset doesn't seem all that bad, firewall contact on one side, but nothing drastic around town. (Under compression is a whole other matter)

Much more confident about this now, don't get overwhelmed with it all, I'm so ridiculously far from having them function correctly, but now that they're bolted on, I'm committed, and you realize very quickly, it's really not that out of ye question!!!

I will be bolting jungle flares on and taking 2"+ from the quarter panels to prevent the need from up travel limiting or body lifting.

Will be tapering the firewall a little for clearance and eventually relocating the body mount a few inches backward.

The -13 offset prevent rubbing on chassis side however hard to be 100% without flexing up!

Will keep everyone posted

Where'd everyone mount there 35' spares? Have a tray with roll bar which the 35's don't fit under:

I had a mate who made up his frame on his tray. He had two spares and they stood upright and bolted onto a frame near the head board. Ill try and get some pics if I can find any. Looked awesome but also took up a fair bit of room.

Yeah, sounds alright, i'm trying to think of a way that my vision out of the back window isnt impaired. Thinking i might try and rig up some sort of detachable comp-style mount that sits between the roll bars.
In Hind sight, should have run the bars straight to the back of the tray and mounted the tire on the outside of em.

Yeah ive just being going spareless too, i figure whilst they're brand new id have to be super unlucky to have something pierce them on the road or even gravel, but i wouldnt mind a mount for em nonetheless.

yeah it was sort of the same thing as the roll bars you have. they were in the middle of the tray at the headboard very close together and the wheels were just bolted on the outside. he did lose vision through his back window though and he always blamed that as to why he kept backing into trees out in the bush, but we all know he was just a bad driver.

couldn't find any pics and I tried to draw something on Microsoft paint but my artistic ability is pathetic. haha
