Prado 120 steelies +30 offset bout 120 bux each from dealer (17x7.5)

FJ Cruiser Steel wheel (17x7.5) +15 offset bu you will have to import them...bout 100 bux each.

Would I hit the uca with a 0 offset and a 285/75/17 mmaaxx?

I was quoted $375 for 265/70/17 (Jax in Atarmon).
and for steel rims, don't most people just use the Prado ones? (check ebay)

Look in the fitting 33" tyre thread....theres a pic there of my 285's in relation to the factory UCA with my zero offset wheels.

I dont beleive they will. Even onfull steering lock hit the UCA.

Thanks for your help guys, Im going to go with 285/70/17's with some plain black steelies but im thinking I might go for the new cooper st maxx's over the KM2's as they are about 30 odd buks a tyre cheaper and everyone keeps raving about them

Really quick question guys, do i really need the backing plates for the prado brakes? They are an extra $110 and if they really dont do much i wont bother with them

petty sure scottsr20 said he just bent the factory hilux one back to clear them.

You could also remove them altogether if you wanted....it would help with cooling the rotors.

Ps just ordered 07 120 prado calipers from a wreckers on the gold coast for a steal!!! $265 for the pair... delivered to my door :twisted: Thats at least $100 less than the cheapest quote I got here in sydney.

If anyone else wants them pm me and ill happily give you their number and the blokes name I spoke to :D
