I cant take the credit for it all.. all I did was take the original idea and make it work for me..

I can make a new thread though for the mods section on how to mod it for our model if you like..

These mods are great except for the fact I have two kids seats which prevent me from folding bottom seat up in order to fold back of seat forward.

Just have to stick to jamming my arm behind the seat to unclip the kids seats for the boys weekends.'

we never made any brackets. they are already on the rear seat, all you need to do is cut them as shown..

Just did the mod and its “Completely Fully Sick” as my nephew would say. Hack saw, ruler, 12mm socket & 25 minutes…how easy was that.

As a thought screwing a bit of thin ply, say 5 mm to the back of the seat may allow everything to be attached to that so as you fold the seat down all your gear is laying down in front of you?

If you can’t fix it with a hammer you’ve got an electrical problem...

What has happened to the posts from 11th May 2009 to December 31st 2010???? A lot of important issues & tips have been discarded/removed/lost/archived/censored. Forum issue? Could be a bug in the system

Problem found? There are 2 threads on the same topic." Folding back seat mod for all dual cabs"./ "Folding back seat..Yeah".

Yeah.. there are two threads running. This one was lying dormant for a LONG time, then was brought back to life..
I was going to merge the two, but i dont think there's much point..

Ill lock this one.

Please continue the posting on the other thread located :
