Hi was just looking at the kuhmo MT51 in 285/75/16. Has anyone had any experience with these yet. I have the kl71 at the moment and havnt been too bad other than how bloody noisey they are. These look like they would be a fair bit quiter. Just after people's experience with them
Cheers

They look ok, not a large variety of tyre sizes as the KL71, but the tyre does look interesting.

How do you rate the KL71's, both offroad and onroad? Im considering them in a 305/70x16 -

Hilux Max. Didn't like the kl71's at all. Very noisey on the road and didn't last very long. Only got about 25k out of them. I read a few reviews on the mt51 and didn't hear a lot of positives from them. I ended up with an all terrain this time as we are heading to tassie soon and doing a lot of road work. I ended up with Nitto terra grapplers. They arnt as aggressive as I wanted but heard a lot of good comments about them on and off road. Even the yanks seem to rate them highly. My other deciding factor was bob Jane had a deal on them so I got 4 high end tyres for $828. Seem to be very good so far. Will find out what they are like off road after the Easter weekend

I was not exited about kl71.
Pretty good in mud, like tractor tyres, warburton in rain, great!
but crap on anything else.
No grip offroad either like high country rocky stuff, easy wheel spinning.

One of my neighbours had them, he's get a pootrol, mud bug, but they're gone already so I guess he didn't like them either.

IMO can't beat bfg all terrains! Especially the k02

I have a set of mud hogs, they grip like all sh!t in the wet slippery stuff. For the mud bugs. Cheep!
New DENSO Injectors are the go! New genuine parts.

Check your injectors about every 10,000k.
WARNING check oil pickup screen is clear
no chips no tune ups - why increase risk of piston cracking?
