I've recently completed this little project as well & confirm what blackie2008 and others have said.
You will need:
2 x 120 series Prado rotors (I used 2nd hand stock Prado units & had them machined)
2 x 120 series Prado calipers
1 set x new brake pads to go with your shiny rotors (brand of your choice)
Brake Fluid (Dot 3)is what is specified for these vehicles. 1 bottle was plenty to do a full brake flush & bleed
My existing rigid brake lines married straight up.
Changing backing plates is not really required, just gently bend back the existing ones. If you do decide you want to put Prado baking plates on, you will be making the job a much bigger one as the backing plate is mounted further in & from memory would require removal of the hub assembly as well. I personally can't see any advantage in doing so - unless you already had/were going to dismantle the front end completely.
In conjunction with this (if you are like me & your rear automatic adjusters don't work), make sure you adjust - & keep adjusted - your rear brakes as well.
All up, for under $350.00 and a few hours & of my time, a very worthwhile exercise.
