i'm looking to purchase as set of spare cv's. Toyota's gen parts are $1100 each. That is what i have been priced in brissy. That's not fitted. Now the lux's dented and looks about 10 years old i'm pushing it a bit harder and i think it's only a matter of time before i break a cv. Has anyone broken a cv? They are fairly thick so hopfully they won't break "touch wood"

You really start killing them once you get cracks in the boots and dirt/water gets in there...

Otherwise when you fit over sized tyres, that doesn't help either.

I have broken many CV's but not on the Hilux thank god :)
