Spoke to my mechanic about them, and they have a customer with one. His comments are that it rides and handles like S*%T!
He is going to remove it when funds allow a kit like Wizards.

hey parr

the wizard kit /ultimate is a fully engineered bracket that supports the diff and drops it, i think lately lux was talking about the diff drop that only tilts the angle of the diff using longer bolts and spacer blocks, its a S@#T design it just puts more strain on all your other componants.
cheers Troy

Pretty sure that Wizard will sell you their drop down separately for less than the Snake kit!

now, just to get some clarification about what we are talking about here, are you guys talking about the 1 inch snake racing diff drop to fix the cv angles somewhat or the 4 inch drop crossmember 'diff drop" kit?

just so we know what we are talking about here.

also, rod, please explain what the wizard diff drop kit in relation to the above mentioned two kits, just so I understand what wizard is offering aswell.

Mmaaxx

Mate just the diff drop kit. Wizard's is similar to Snake's on casual observation, I can't comment about what some of the others are saying about angles etc. I'ts not a cross member drop down. I can't comment on the difference that others are talking about. Just that the Full Wizard kit replaces the UCA, drops trhe diff, installs coilovers and spaces down the sway bar to keep everything legal.... With this kit, you wil get close to 4" (well at least 3 1/2") without putting something like a cross member in the way, so I think you'll probably end up with more clearance than with an Ultimate style kit. But the Wizard diff spacer is cheaper than Snake.

does the wizard spacer actually space the diff an inch down, or it just angles it like the snake kit?

do you have a web link by any chance? prices?

Max

Here is the URL http://www.wizardperformance.com.au/

You might have to give Brent a call on Monday but from memory it was about $45 but I could be way out. I did not pay much attention to what it does as it was part of the full kit but it does change the angles and I thought drop it down too but it looks very similar to Snake.

GHG might know more
