I'm keen as, I have contact Harrop about a Group Buy on E Lockers and below is there response.

Hi there Michael, thankyou for your interest in Harrop products. The E-locker differentials are readily available through Opposite Lock and Iron Man for sale and installation. We do sell direct to the public here at Harrop but cannot supply a group buy scenario as we must support our distributors.
The E-locker RRP is $1599.40 inc GST. Once again thankyou for your interest and for any further enquiries please contact us.

Finished of the install on the W/end and works a treat.
Great on the big ruts, up hills.
Even with no locker in the rear only one of the rear's can slip and 3 wheels must turn as the t/case distributes evenly.

Also it seems the latest models have a slightly different housing as the outer race of the crown wheel bearings is a few mm different (only genuine) 2011 on... but this should'nt be an issue for anyone as you can put the bearings back in given the low Km's at this stage. but only the housing, as the entire center is the same 2005-2011.

Front diff is easy to remove for anyone thinking of this, with just the usual tool set required
I just removed the wheels, brakes and the top ball joint, stabilizer arm rod and steering joint then layed the hub out.
This was enough to slip out the axles and drop the diff out. you should also be able to do the same leaving the top connected and remove the bottom 2 bolts folding it all up... :P

ARB but have had the odd problem with my rear one, I think mainly due to the hose not being ran underneath correctly it has ripped off twice and had crap get into the diff. Re ran the hose and its been good so far.

Cheers guys forgot to check back at this. It was a difficult choice but I went with ARB. Dont send me hate mail please but I decided that they have looked after me pretty well so far and it was 400 cheaper... which can go back towards the body lift.
My Mrs said if you get this thats it right ? your cars finished :? :? :? :? of course.. I replied, yes dear.      NEVER I will always find something more to add, unless I had an SAS conversion mmmmm I wonder if she'd go for that....

the thing about ARB is that every 4wd should have a compressor anyways...so the cost of the compressor shouldnt be considered part of the cost of an air locker in a way
old enough to know better...young enough to not give a f**k

Tacoma and early FJ's use the same rear diff....updated FJ's use a 8.4" rear diff, I beleive the 4 runner uses this diff too thou not 100% sure.

anything to suit a Tacoma diff will suit a hilux unless its got an E-locker fitted from factory in which case the center is different again.

Our hilux rear diffs are an 8"...just search for late model fourbys with the same rear diff and you should be fine.
