Mars LED Tail Light Units

Mars Performance are now producing Black Smoked LED tail light units for the 2016 Hilux, do a search on fleabay.

Not sure how many of the lights are LEDs, have asked the seller a question.

As I had Mars tail lights on my 2013 Hilux I'm more than confident they'll be a good fit and work as they should. Pity they're so expensive.

Going back and looking at the product picture of the lights I can now see that it's only the brake light that's LED.

LED globes for the rest ?

Normaly with the Mars tail lights the inbuilt LEDs have a distinct pattern such as the brake lights shown above.
Not sure what the other red perimeter light is as there's only one LED connector. I've ordered a set so guess we'll soon know.

Looking forward to seeing the fitted pics! That's what I meant by my previous post, rather than build quality. I want to see how these look fitted, styling-wise, under all lighting conditions.

Dont like that style. they had a couple different styles for N70 which I bought a couple times. But the one they released above i dont think suits.

Its not the "smoking" I dont like, it the LED light design they have gone for....I dont think it suits the vehicle.

This design they use on the N70 looks much better -

These are the lights I had fitted to my 2013 that to me are better than the N70 units you showed. Comes down to personal choice as usual but lets wait till I have the 2016 design fitted shall we so we can provide an informed decision.

Anyone tinted the standard lights yet?? Im hoping to use window tint so its removable.. also wanna try cut out the reverse light in the tint so its still bright

The whole purpose of this post relates to passing on of information for those members that may be interested in or considering LED tail lights, nothing else.

Lights fronted today, very well packed and good quality, fits well if not a tad short on the leading edge profile.

LEDs are nice and bright and all twist in fittings are perfect.

Would prefer the black to smoked but let's see what they produce in the future.

Will get some shots tomorrow if it's not raining.

Mars have another product out, looks like it's all LED but comes with a price.
