That is understandable. There are some people, let's say this, that don't act like adults. I now call Facebook, Shallow Book, or Shalbook.
The format doesn't allow for proper articles, but that's the way the world is now. I think Facebook needs to take responsibility for policing some of it's members. Facebook is definitely responsible for shallow behaviour that now dawns our communities, world wide.
Unfortunately, this is the way of the world, and that's where it's all going. Forums will die, I reckon. Am I happy about that? No, I am not, but that's the way it is.
The Aussie 4WD groups are pretty good. Paul young, Josh Farnham and Steve Dyer are all fair people. I have been invited over to some of these groups. The good thing about FB is that anyone who pisses you off, you can block them so they don't get any of your information. Good for people like Anthony, Darren and myself. You can just ban them from getting your information. You can easily collect IP addresses as well, if you know what you are doing. This means they can't come back as another profile, only if they spend money with IP Vanish or something. Either way, they are the losers. I am John Roo on Facebook. There are some excellent people on FB like Jack Sommers. There is a fair bit of knowledge on FB if you know your way around it. In the beginning you will probably hate it. I did. I went kicking and screaming with Anthony's toe up my butt.
