The Hilux uses Negative switching so the wiring for the spotlights is as follows for the Hilux:

Relay ports:
30 - battery +
86 - battery +
87 - Spotties
85 - Rear of headlight, red wire with yellow stripe.

Note: this is from Paulie503 which is under another post about this subject... http://www.newhilux.net/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=372

The search function is handy for these kinds of things :)

I WON
For those of you that have purchased IPF driving lights or other lights that may have a mouse switch you may have to run 2 relays to get the mouse switch to work correctly I didnt I just ditched the mouse.
I have just thrown it away and put a glow switch in the dash as it is very hard to run the mouse switch with the diods if you reverse the + and - on for the lights diod will not work
The head lights will run when you turn your lights off.
But you will get the diods to work when head lights are on but no driving lights.
So I gave up and just put in a switch it was easier that putting in more wires.
Hope this helps if anyone else has this problem.
8-)
