I wanna see where i can install the UHF body (hidden) and with the headunit under the ash tray.
Thanks Marcelo

Chancha,

Not sure about a technical how to, but a lot of people got some ideas from what I did which are on Page 4 of my Rod's New Rig Thread here:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1406&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=60

Some people also fitted on the side under the glove box, but what I did looked easier to get to and service to me.

Marcelo,

I checked the tips & tricks and it's not there nut I did remember reading something about what you wanted.

Anyway, I think the info Rod gave you is what you are searching for.

If it's not what you are after please PM me or Dave and we'll see how we can dig out the old information.
Cheers

Brendon

Hi MArcelo,
just installed my uhf iniden u015. Mounted body in behund glovebox top corner. It sits there pretty good, but I stuck some velcro to the panel and unit to hold it in place. Just pop the glove box out to put it in.

Hi Eggy, now that is a great idea! Although there maybe a good chance dust can get there.
I end up intalling the head unit inside the centre pocket (centre golve box?) and ran the mic under it so the lead comes out the handbrake ... pic will tell 1000 words... I'll try to get some pics.

hi fellas
Ive got a gme tx6200 handheld 5watt mounted on my dash infront the ashtray on a trickle feed charger/clip(charges while cliped in) and external aerial that can easily swaped with the flexible antenna.
its a good set up but a little bit chunky on the dash but added bonus of being portable aswell.

just thought i might say incase any1 else may want to go this direction :P
cheers lowlux
