I have them and the replacement wiring loom. I have since gotten rid of the globes (they died) and replaced them with fairly standard ones. The wiring loom makes the bigger difference. There is a more direct current from the battery and through a better gauge wire.
The loom is really easy to install. Do a search. I have put some photos on the thread.

what globes have you replaced them with and also, once you replace the loom does this disengage the "lights left on alarm?

I cant remember what they are called. They are IPF ones that still cost about $30 each. It does not disengage the alarm as the original system is still switching the lights on and off. It plugs into the loom. It is one of the first things I did to my car as I spend a lot of time driving in the night (to and from work).

My first set of fatboys lasted 18 months. Very bright low beam (adjusted lights down). High beam is basic (Lightforce 240's fixes that).

I ended up going the Phillips H4+50 Vision Plus globes.. MUCH cheaper than fatboys.. (they're heaps cheaper on ebay than from TJM/ARB too)

made a big diff from the stock ones..

Guys, I have replaced my globes with the Phillips Diamond 60/55 Headlights. they are standard brightness, but put out a much whiter light.. makes it much easier to see, therefore less fatigue at night.. but they pale in comparison to my IPF HIDs... they really do turn night into day.. ;) Cheers TOMUCH

Steve,

I'm also using the +50 H4 globes for the headlamps but mine is Osram Silverstar.

Yes, the IPF are good but bloody expensive! As you said, you can change 3 sets for the price of a pair from IPF!

Cheers
