Crowninrounds 2009 SR5 Dual Cab Build

So I have always been into cars and 4WDs and the like and up until now due to funds and being poor intern i had minimised spending and do as much myself as I can. Well a cheap 1989 Nissan Patrol GQ came up a few years ago that got me into the 4wding scene and did extremely well for the little cost it initially gave me but eventually long trips, small space and poor fuel consumption got me.

The patrol by the time I was finished.

But my younger brother inheriting the old mans "old" 2006 Double Cab SR and me subsequently doing at the modifications for him (3 inch front lift, 2 inch rear lift, Jungle flares , MCC Bullbar front and rear, rails, and steps, and snorkel along with all the beeper deletes etc... OH and 32x11.5s) and having been a Toyota family I thought it was time to make a change.

The family vehicles... Toyota Cult?

My Brothers LUX after front bar, steps, flares and 32's.

So the Patrol was sold and I found myself a 2009 SR5 Dual Cab (unfortunately in Silver) with 150,000 ont the clock with timing belt just done etc.

It came with a Deluxe Nudge Bar, front monsoons and bonnet protector, and a ute master locking alloy hard lid.

As it came.

Initial plans are:
-Beepers disabling
-Front and Rear Bars from MCC
-Sidesteps from MCC (will modify to strengthen up further)
-Runva 11XP Black Premium Winch (Limited Lifetime warranty)
-Dobison 65mm Front Lift Springs (C59 352) and Shocks
-Add a leaf to the rear pack.
-Remove all red from vehicles ie lights etc
-Snorkel

Ok so had a busy week with the truck fitted the bar work, the winch, the front lift (waiting on add a leaf to arrive) fitted Alloys and 32x11.5r15s and 1 inch extended balljoints. Only had to tie the mud flaps back clearance wise to stop rub.

Looks like i will require swaybar relocator. Has anyone tried to just drill holes around 15mm forward and tap them to suit the sway bar bracket bolts as it is double thick chassis there and is alot cheaper than the brackets/less noticeable.

Also did rear seat mod and deleted beepers (door on a switch).

Here are some pretty average pictures of progress any ideas or thoughts on my plans would be greatly appreciated.

I also resilvered all the panels inside as they were very scratched up and did the dash surrounds.

Nice mate. I wouldn't be drilling and tapping holes in ya chassis, illegal and you'd have every chance of getting pinned at rego time for modifying the chassis.

Do you have toyota hilux surf or 4runner?
They are factory rims.
They are 15x7 and 8p offset.
