Just quickly, does it have joins down the middle of the bladder to stop water sloshing left and right when you turn the car if its half full lets say??

Guys
No back seat mod done ,Still have baby seat anchor point installed(placed a peice of rubber over top) dosnt interfer with bladder,When bladder is full bottom of seat can still fold up enough to get jack out etc,In regards to the seams down the middle ,i believe they are there i will double check and drive around with it half full to do a noise test for you Noidea.

Test drive with bladder half full ,you hear some sloshing round corners but nothing to bad,i intend to only have tank filled with water when needed camping etc as i would want it as fresh as possible .Very happy with end result ,filled a unused space and no need for water jerry cans in back any more, can fit a case of beer in that spot.

Hmmm..... thanks for the pictures.

The price is right but I have a sub-woofer behind my rear seat so that kills the idea now. Bugger ..........

When I go camping I carry a 25 litre jerry can of water and it's inconvenient to use.

How much does the thing weigh with the box mate?
Cheers

Dual cab behind seat water bladder

Well done guys, I've been looking for a water solution for my Hilux. This is a great spot to put it as the space is a dead space.

Just to clarify FTA never used to sell direct to public ,but they do now and as mentioned previous the manager has assured me he will send me a link to enable new hilux members a further discount.
Brendon not sure on exact weight of bladder in box but it was minimal ,they export thier gear all over the world ,i am sure they can assist you if keen for one at the right price.

haha the coles water i know what you mean
i made the mistake once of buying the sparkling shit :o
made the weekend away interested having to drinking water that exploded every time you opened a new bottle
tasted like ass too.

i saw a good water tank rigged up on the back of a hilux last night
Just a long big of PVC pipe with on tap on it... then it had pipes going up into the tray...
I wonder if he had another tank in there.

Couldn't take photos as phones broken!

Hi Sammo,
Sorry I just need a bit more clarification on the baby seat issue. So can I use a baby seat (connected to the anchor) with this bladder in place? Just don't want to fork out $200 only to have to leave my baby behind on camping trips.

Guys
Spoke with manager today from FTA and if you follow his instructions below to purchase the hilux code will be recognised and the 20% discount will apply,he advised me this discount will be available on all their range of 4x4 bladders.Just to answer a few questions.
Brendon- the bladder is sent in a 5kg postage parcel
2007lux-I retained my child seat anchor point and reinstalled the child seat ,used a extension strap to move buckle away from bladder.
Great to hear your install went so well. Here’s the details on how your forum members can place their orders:

1. Go to: https://ftaustore.com/products/50-ltr-u ... -tank.html
2. Place the order and go to the checkout procedure where you enter all your details etc etc
3. There will be a box in this checkout area where is says “coupon code” and enter hilux0411 before proceeding with the order
4. Wait for the stock to arrive!

The coupon code will run until the end of April 2011 so there is plenty of time to get the orders in.
