How is your LSD in the back? Mine doesn't seem to work at all, so I'm thinking it would be better to put a locker in there first.

Your ute looks great, although a clear coat on the rims would help satisfy my bling cravings.

Mine still works and I do heaps of unsealed road driving. Having a single spinner at the back would drive me crazy. And no more bling.

Here's a link to a good video of a trip that I did on 3rd-5th of June. We drove from Kevington to Porepunkah VIC just before the seasonal track closure. There were twenty blokes in thirteen vehicles. It was great fun.

Good video doggs. . . I have some good footage from the weekend but it's a bit hard to watch sitting on my head, I forgot to set the gopro up the right way so half the film is upside down

Not sure yet. Haven't driven it nor looked at it since I got home on Sunday.

4 minutes 15 seconds into that video is where I think my CV troubles started. .......and an engine mount  . That was seven weeks ago.

Re: A Dog's Breakfast - MADDOG's Build. Meet the Twins

Update time.

I replaced my broken engine mount but . . . .

I blew up my gearbox and it took seven weeks and three replacement gearboxes to find one that works.

I was also wearing out my Silverstone's too quickly on the road so bought some 245/75R16 Hero Dynastorm's and put them on the Prado steelies to run around on.

My left CV went from clicking to grinding on the way into the Wonnanagatta Valley on the Newvember trip. I secretly limped through the whole weekend hoping that it wouldn't break on me and had both shafts replaced not long after I got home.

And now the big news . . . . . I now have front and rear Harrop-Eaton E-lockers 8-) :D :D :D :D :D

Happy Days

I'll post up a photo of my hilux's new look shortly.

i believe there is but it involves meeting at the top of the gnarliest hillclimbs where only dual lockers will take you
