265x70x17 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2

Guys,
I have a 2011 sr5 duel cab,
Was told by tyre dealer today that he can fit 265x70x17 KM2's on my new lux with no lift.
He told me that they would be 6 - 8 weeks, an about 1800 for 5x tyres.
Thoughts?

Don't think it will fit? Tyre prices seem good .

I am also looking at what BFG MT l can put on my new SR5 D/Cab they are the 17" rims
I have a 2" lift kit so hopefully that helps with a slightly bigger tyre

fitted up a 285/70R17 to the 2" OME lifted lux yesterday just for curiosity - definately a no go, as scrubs at the slight turn of the steering wheel - am looking at either 265/70R17 or 265/75R16. I was told that BFG Muds aren't made in the 265/70R17 in australia by the tyre bloke... is that correct

The KM2 is made in a 265/70x17, they are on back order with allot of places he jsut might not be able to get some so to get a sale is saying that.

so these tyres will fit with no lift? may i ask what size are they in old school cos i havnt yet grasped the idea of the new measurements, ( are they like 31"x10 or something similar ) is this the largest size that will fit under a stock hilux and wont scrub, other than front guards.

Try the below website mate.

http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalcul ... ion=submit

Size is a 32" even though they are a bit under.

Some say they fit with no scrubbing but other say they scrub. My understanding is 32's will not fit without 2" lift

I fitted BFG 265x70x17 BFG All Terrain and they scrub very slightly, however I am booked in 2 weeks for a 2" lift, so that will compensate for any scrub.

I have fitteg BFG KM2's and only the front left hand one scrubs when turning. When you look at them the left one is closer to the back part of the guard. Does any body know if this is normal? if not how is it fixed. Have had wheel alinement and they said it was ok.

It is probably within spec, but you can have them move them forward just a tad so that it doesnot rub

I got 32x11.5 km2s last week and they are an unreal tire, if you get the wheels forward with an alinement and a bull bar you should be fine. I had to cut the bottom corners off my bar, flare and inner guard for mine to fit with 2.5 inch lift. It was just the bumper that was torture for me

Gregwitho,

I have the same problem, curently running 265/75/16 Coopers ST Maxx, with Eagle wheels which have an -11mm offset, and they scrub on the left side, I have taken the mud flaps off and cut the inner guard and part of the flare, but when I turn left and go over a bump of a driveway they still just rub, i have an OME 2" lift. I've had the wheel alignement done and all is spot on to no avail, so I'll just live with it, or change the wheels to a +20mm offset, which is what the hilux's need.

Cheers

I am looking at getting some km2's with either 265/75r16 or 265/70r17. I have a 2' lift on a 2009 extra cab sr5. Rims I'm looking at have zero offset. Does anyone else have theses set ups?

I have 265/70 r17 km2 fitted on prado rims with no lift, standard suspension. I have no scrubbing at all in the front, still have factory bumper and all flaps on. The tires are a bit tight on upwards travel between the rear mudguards on the factory alloy tray, but have no reason for concern with this. Mine have travelled approx 50000km, faultlessly
