Yeah great shots, whatya reckon the km2 is worth the extra 75 or so bucks a tread over the bighorns? Reckon the km2 will last longer and they got the new 33% stonger side wall. apparently? yanks are loving them but still a bit dubious about the 4wd monthly comparo putting them in first. they are stronger and would be more cut resistant but at the end of the day it comes down to your dollars.

Just got fitted the KM2 Muddies for $345 a pop in 265/75/16. Very happy with them on/off road!

That price is up in Darwin also!

you cant get the creepy crawler in that size...I already looked into it a while back....they dont bring it in, and unfortunately neither do Toyo with their one, which I would of preffered....... even in the states they have trouble getting the creeper in that size.

your only options are bighorns or KM2.....KM2 is a tougher tyre and a tad larger, not that you will really see it, but the key point to them is, to ensure you deflate them enough when going offroad to benefit from the longer footprint and less chance of staking the tyre......

I reckon Ill go one of these tyres next.....

I'm ordering my suspension lift after payday this month (OME 2" lift + 10mm spacer on front) & I want to run these tyres.... My question is, would these be ok on a 16x7 rim with 0 offset? (Black Steelies)

Marneus, I think the wide offset will defeat a lot of the purpose of the narrower tyre to keep everything inside the wheel arches. Around +18 to +20mm offset is all you need. Moving out 20mm further might casue problems fouling the guard.

Cheers Rod, that's what I though but I'm struggling to find any decent wheel with a +20 Offset (Struggling to find any 16x7 with this offset most I can find are 16x8 with +15mm)
I keep looking for Prado rims but no one sells them over here other than toyota..... Guess I'll have to look further afield.

well i ran these tyres at coffs, bf goodrich i like them alot, however be prepared to do a 2 inch lift and a body lift to make these; A; look right on your vehicle, as they are a large tyre and B: if your suspension is flexy not foul on anything, you will get away with just one of the two if your willing to chop chop or grind like hell!

just my experience anyway!

you should be fine with a 2.5 to 3" lift and some trimming.....the diameter isnt the problem tyre width is, and because these tyres are just over 10" wide, I dont think a bodylift is necessary to fit them....

justfishn on here is running them with a 2inch lift.

So Rokit, just recapping. 255/85 on 16x7 +20. Sorry I sort of lost track with all the different sizes that were thrown around. :? Do they stick out past the panels?

Hope I am not stealing your thunder Dane, But I don't think they do. This is on an SR with no flare..

I am one of the ones seriously considering these next time and will be on 16x7 +20mm rims. I think the flares will be required

Ive recently found out, thanks to Pradopoint that those steelies are closer to a +15 offset than a +20 offset.....thou only a small difference would be the difference between the tyre rubbing on the sway bar on full lock or the UCA....

just thought Id mention that....they are a great steelie thou.
