i would never buy a set of cumhos again.
they were really slippery in the wet they were the mud tyres that they had a few years ago and then when i bought some for the ss ute i thought the best they had would be good but they were the same.
i hope they work out better for you mate..i have cooper stt's and yes they are expensive but a far superior tyre

I used to run Kumho many years ago but found them to get very poor wear but they may have changed by now
They were cheap but not when you have to keep replacing every 30 or 40 thous
I have also did alot of side wall damage on the kumho not nice throwing a new tyre in the bin with a big cut in the side
The problem with doin' nothing is that you never know when youre finished

have got the KL78's on and have found them to be a very good allround tyre. can't comment on wear at the moment as they only have about 12k on them. no problems on a recent oodnadatta track trip.

Adam,
I have the Kumho Venture AT 265/70/15's on my lux and have given them some hard yards. Beach and bush. Look at my profile for the xmas trip a year or 2 ago. Have not had an issue and have 60k on them now with heeps left (should easy get 100k +) . If I was to say a bad word about them is that they are getting a bit hard and not that great in the wet.
This is only if I push it hard.
Your choise.
Regards,
Cam

I had a set of Kumhos 20 something years ago, they didn't even last 6 months on the "Occasional Daily Driver", will never touch them again.

Anyone noticed that the posting dates are corrupted? It appears whenever a thread is 'bumped by anonymous ' the dates revert to ancient times.
Cheers Gipsy :D although I'm sure somebody will challenge that  even Einstein wasn't certain of his theories.
