Postby jackolux on Fri, 09 Mar 2012 8:53 +0000

I have just noticed a pool of Diesel on the floor under my Lux , yep I have managed to shove a stick or whatever up there and give the cooler quite a nudge

Im going to bypass it for now , maybe for good , do we need the bloody things , seems to me there in a shyte of a place anyway .

A fuel cooler is recommended considering the rail pressures achieved.
If you live in a cold climate you might get away without one.

Strangely enough, the 2KD-FTV here does not have a fuel cooler.

Diesel cooler

I read if you have a steel long range tank you don't need to run a fuel cooler, because the steel tank act like a heat dissipater. Where as the black plastic doesn't dissipate the heat there for requiring a additional fuel cooler.
