New 1kd won't start

Bear with me, there's a saga here!

I have a UK edition 2014 ikd-ftv, and us being suckers it's got all the EGR and DPF.
ECU part number 89661-0KW30 with 6 connectors

While away in Portugal injector 1 shat itself, and the run back made a mess of the cylinder and after 150k+ miles on the engine, i thought I would put a new engine in rather than dump the truck or engine swap.
So got a professionally remaufactored block, and then built on all teh rest, with the old engine as donor for loom etc.
so new:
billet turbo
water pump
alternator nearly new
cam belt kit
idlers
injectors
injector piping
common rail and sensors
fuel pump and SCV
rocker cover and gaskets etc

Got it all back in, and discovered I had managed to get the ground wire near the engine bay fuse box (which should go to the turret) onto the same Pos post as the fuse box feed, and it this had taken out the ECU and some fuses.

Got a new ECU and Immobiliser ECU so I know it all matches, all fuses in all the fuse areas checekd and replaced as required.

Won't fire up.
Figured maybe the injector driver was toast, so put a brand new one in.
No fire up.

Techstream and Autel both show everything good to go. Immobiliser is not engaged.
Fuel filter pressurises, so fuel gets there.
Crack a hard pipe off the common rail and diesel goes everywhere when cranking, so the pump is doing it's thing.
Turns over on starter motor but doesn't fire.

Anybody got any good info before I burn the pissing thing

Check the timing isn't 180 degrees out. Actually finding TDC on cylinder 1 can be deceptive.

Thanks Rob
I am sure the crank/cam/fuel were all aligned right but it was a while ago, so very good point, i will double check, admit i hadnt checked it

Just because the fuel pipes to the injectors have pressure doesn’t mean the injectors are getting an electrical signal.
