Thanks SRLUXX, yeah the rig is starting to take shape now... Just sold the old bus, so few more goodies will be ordered very soon !!

Got a few more hrs work done on the tray tonight, base almost done and will start the "roll bar" tomorrow arvo. Only problem is that I only get 2-3 hrs to work on it per day as I am borrowing a mates workshop after business hours and its hard to get much done in a few hrs. Shouldnt complain, just very eager to get it finished.

Cheers mate, all my friends are putting the pressure on me now... We have had some good bush weather in the last week and they all want to come out on its maiden voyage ! I'm like a kid at Christmas at the moment, that maiden voyage just can't come soon enough.

Damn that's tidy.

Are you going to put a drain plug in the lowest corner of that box? As at the moment it looks like if any moisture gets in there it'll have nowhere to go

Yeah did think about it but hopefully ill seal them up properly first time and won't have any issues. And it won't be hard to do later if need be.

Hey guys, I've purchased an aux tank to go under the tray, when I ordered it I measured up the space I had under the tray and now that I've got it I'm wondering If I have enough fall from the filler to the tank... I've only got about 70 mm over a 300 distance.... Would love to hear if anyone else has put in aux tanks and how they have done it...

Those boxes should be high enough to keep them out of harms way

Powdercoating or 2pac it ?

Also could just be my eyes playing tricks on me, but in that 2nd last photo it appears like the tray sits too high at the rear, making for a "broken in the middle" appearance?
