Timing belt warning light

Postby earlydays on Sun, 18 Jul 2010 3:01 +0000

Can anyone tell me how to switch off or re-set the T-belt warning light in my "05 D4D Hilux. The car was serviced and the belt replaced just before it reached 150k, but as soon as it ticked over to 150k the light came on. My local mechanic and not Toyota serviced the car. I can take it back to my bloke but I thought if there is a quick and easy way of doing it I will do it myself.
