hi harry, ive just gone from 30x9.5r15 kumhos to 31x10.5r15 bridgestone m/t. main reason for changing brand after 5 sets, was to get a little more height , but mostly for the much better load carrying ability. the bridgies are a lot quieter on road than the kumho despite a more aggressive looking pattern. the truk is definitely slightly higher geared, most noticeable when passing. i havent noticed any fuel use difference. the fuel light still comes on almost bang on 600kms, when running unloaded. the tyres may get noisier after they wear down a fair bit. my single cab has a fair bit of road noise coming from behind the seat and drives me nuts anyway! hope this might help.
