Wont freewheel

Hopefully someone can help with this as am already bald from pulling my hair out!
I have a 2017 2.4 4WD D-4D ECB GUN125 and for some reason it will not free wheel when in 4wd with the clutch down.
It rolls for approx 6-10ft then comes to a stop. it then pulls away again fine.
acts completely normal when in 2wd. is this normal or do I have something wrong?
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP??

Not really up on how computers control things like "hill decent", "traction control" or the auto braking systems, but a guess would be to read up on how these systems actually operate.
