Larger tyre and wheel, will it fit to replace spare?

Any one with 265 70 R17 know if it will fit under the tub to replace the spare. I'm about to order some new wheels and tyres but would like to know if I get 4 or 5.

Easily. I had 285 70 r17 under there.

Definitely fits, however my 285/70R17 is a tight squeeze.

Lateral clearance is fine but longtitudinal clearance depends on your tow bar (if you have one) and how far up your rear diff housing travels under compression.

Also remember that as the axle moves up it also moves rearward due to the flattening of the springs.
