Hello,
I am new to the forum and excited to discuss with fellow hilux owners. I have a 1985 ln56R RWD hilux. I have very rarely seen this model around Australia. I wonder how common it is, or if it is more of a obscure model, or perhaps just out-dated?
Thanks thanks thanks, Luke :) :)

Very old and outdated now. I had a 1988 dual cab manual 4x4, 2.4L diesel, last of its series. It had a lot of km on it, over 450,000km, but was probably the slowest and most gutless thing I ever owned. Had a brake pedal, clutch pedal and rattle pedal. Calling it an accelerator pedal would have been a lie! It used bugger all fuel, and didn’t cost much to own. Had to pull the 5spd out and change some stuff on 1-2 selectors and synchros. It ended up getting stolen, as it was rust free someone must have wanted its panels.
