Hilux Brakes

Hi All I am having problems with the hilux kun26 d4d park brake not stopping the car on a hill. I have adjusted the break pads and ajusted the cable but still not helping and ideas??

Any mods like big tyres or aftermarket brake parts?

There has been a 2 inch lift but from what i understand that shouldnt affect park break?

Hi I ajusted the brakes till wheels only turn about 3/4 turn. Ajusted lever brake bar till nut was at the end of thread. Reajusted hand brake and hand brake works on about 7 to 9 clicks depending on type of hill does this sound about right?

have you tried to apply the handbrake on a level dirt road to see if the brakes lock up equally (if at all)?

Heaps of hilux owners have this issue though, here is one example
