Depress Brake Message

After recently adjusting the settings on my iDrive, I have noticed that as soon as I unlock the vehicle and open the driver door, the display shows the message "depress brake then start engine" three times. At first I thought it may have been a loose cable, but when the car does displays the message three times, every time now, I discounted that. Has anyone else seen this?

Mine doesn't show the message three times.
As soon as I shut the door on mine the message displays and then once started, dissapears.
