I like the wheels, do they stay inside the wheel arches without flares. Also what is the offset on those rims.

The wheels are factory Hilux 2015-current GUN SR steelies. +30 offset. 17x7.5"
With the 265/65 AT's the tyres are just on the edge of the fenders/guards.
With the 265/70 MT's the tyres just protrude past and need flares....which I must get round to fitting 1 day lol

Few more things done...

3" DEA exhaust system.
New injectors - genuine Denso.
Prado 2020+ GD 150 front brakes - Massive difference!!

Finally got round to getting the ECU reflashed. Local specialist to me did it and its made a HUGE difference.
I specifically asked not for a rolling coal power tune but rather a safe tune that deletes EGR and would help performance for towing and offroad. They were surprised as everyone wants the big numbers and heaps of smoke.
Tune is a mild stage 2 that copes with the mods I've done without overpowering the running gear which can be the weakest link.

Nice. Did you need to change the brake cylinder?

Nope, no need to change the master cylinder.

Few pics of the Brake upgrade.....

Didn't have to change master cylinder.
Only mod needed was to bend the backing plates slightly to not rub on the new larger Prado rotors.
I also replaced the caliper hard pigtail brake line as mine didn't fit the new calipers very well. They sealed, but had to be screwed in till the hex was hard on the caliper. Didnt like that so put longer brake pipe fittings on the pigtails and reflared the pipes.

These brakes are so much better and bigger, but you do need to run on 17" wheels.
Highly recommend this "bolt on" mod for the Hilux.
