Hi!
H4 is perfect for cruising in the sand dunes here in Chile, but there are 2 reasons why i want to use 4L:
-In 4L it disengage all the electronics (traction control, abs, etc), giving me all the power to the wheels.
-In 4H i don't have a perfect ratio for the sand dunes; the 2nd 4H "dies" climbing and the 1st gear is too short and I bog down.
Here is very usual to go at 100 kph in 4L
