I've got one, work pretty well but only as good as whoever tunes them, probably better off getting a remap these days. I got mine remapped and it's day and night better than the unichip. Still have the unichip installed for when I put my bigger turbo back on

I would just get a remap from someone that knows what they are doing, it's cheaper and more effective, when I got my unichip remapping wasn't really available

I’m looking into one, I have been quoted $2k including Q4, EGR plate, 5 re map dyno tunes for the Q4 to suit my requirements/car, all installed.

I am running one on both my 1kd hilux and prado.

I chose the unichip over others at the time for a few reasons,
5 tunes
Can have EGT protection built in,
Progressively brings the tune in at temp rises and pulls it back if the ECT gets too warm
Plug and play on the wiring side
Allows tuning down the track for larger turbos-intercoolers-injectors etc.

I would give Ryan a call at CRD automotive solutions (Rutherford), I have made the trip up from Wollongong with 4 cars. He is an ECU shop dealer so that may be an option,(No longer sells unichip but can tune them) He also does in house remapping, I can confirm this as we mapped the factory VNT table with my aftermarket turbo while coupled to the Unichip.
Another 2013 sr5 owner..
