Best:
- My self sufficient 12v power system. It consists of a Ctek D250S, a 250w solar panel and two 100ah AGM batteries. Runs the fridges and the canopy lights. Love not having to worry about power and charging. We leave one fridge in all the time and it gets used quite often. Even with the weekly grocery shopping we whack it on and throw the frozen/cold stuff in. Then there's no hurry to get home. When we go camping we can throw both fridges in and use one as a freezer.
Worst:
- Hmmm, I generally don't do stuff if I'm not convinced it'll be useful. But I did try to go down the path of installing an Android tablet as my reversing camera and it never quite worked properly and was a massive PITA most of the time. The number of times I had to pull the front of the dash off to screw with it was ridiculous. I still have the tablet and use it for my topo maps and OBD2 diagnostics, but I've gone with a simple, dedicated reversing camera now.
