hey guys, trying to drop the factory sump/bash guard on a 03 LN167 lux, needed to fit a new PS belt and thought I'd check diffs etc while down there.
3 of the 4 bolts needed heat to loosen and thought I was all OK till realised one of them was spinning due to the supposedly captive nut in the crossmember breaking loose. The thing is I cant see any way to get a spanner or socket up there to hold the nut without pulling apart the crossmember which doesnt look like much fun as it seems to hold up all sorts of stuff like diffs etc.
It's one of the rear bolts thats spinning so there's reasonable access to the bolt head which I guess I could grind off but hopefully theres a better way?
