Am going to get Toyota to check it out.

I've recently bought my first Hilux (2.8 Auto - done 4000km's) and I find the injector rattle noise is really bad. Its noticable when warming up from cold and I get that, but once its running fully hot it doesnt go away. No rattle when the engine is under no stress and low rpm but when under even light accelerating throttle between around 2200-2800 rpm the rattle becomes constant, very noticable when climbing any hills when the revs increase into that RPM range.

Have the same thing, from the same location. Im probably just going to ignore it. Know people that have had dashboard pulled apart in new cars to find a rattle, only to have more rattles once the dealer is finished.

Yours may be different but I've just eliminated mine. I could have sworn it was coming from the dash but after sitting in the garage with the engine off and constantly playing the same section of song over and over and listening from different spots in the cab it turned out to be the plastic cover that sits next to the DAB Arial at the top of the windscreen. I've just pulled it gently away which has solved the problem for now, but I may have to slip a small cushion of some sort in between the screen and cover if the bastard noise returns.
Hope this helps some one keep their sanity.
