Hey guys, I have a problem with my ute just wondering if anyone might be able to help me. I was driving along the highway and it slowed down to 60km/h. Limp mode I think so I pulled over checked everything out as much as I could. Got in started the car with a bit of trouble. So I called racq got a Rowe home. Now I have taken it to a mechanic and they can't seem to find the fault. A code came up for a sensor not 100% which one replaced it still no good. After a day's labour and still no real answer I got it taken to Toyota. Now they are saying it's the fuel pump in the tank. But it doesn't explain why the car won't run. Does anyone have any idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The car starts with aero start idles fine but won't rev and runs like a hairy goat. TIA

If the title is correct it's a diesel. There isn't a pump in the tank.
